BIRDS OF PARADISE

Designed by ‘Design your Jutti’ contest winner, Vahini Ravichandran, executed by our design team. Birds of Paradise is an artist’s impression of a slice of heaven. Shades of soft sky blue play as a backdrop to 3D tropical birds, hand-embroidered in different hues of pink, yellow and green. Intricate needlework has gone into each detail, using elements like threads, raffia, beads and gold threads. Some of the most proficient of karigars have worked on this tirelessly, taking 19 man hours on average for hand-embroidery alone,

to steal a piece of the promised land and lay it at your feet.
